Just ten minutes along in the hills here is little hut – known as the Bee House as it used to house beehives. This is owned by Richard and Gabriela, like a little hidey hole. On Saturday we went and cooked our dinner up there and sat out around the fire until late.
They have a fireplace, a well stocked wood pile,a huge rock and a few trees for shelter which make the whole place feel quite special and hidden.
The hut has all the gear you need if you feel like a wee escape for a while…
After a quick thunder storm we got the fire going and cooked dinner.
Lionel and Charlie waiting for the thunder to pass from inside the hut.
The boys spent ages cutting grass with mini scyths, piling up the grass. Then when it was dark they flew the light-up helicopters we got in Istanbul on our last night.
Great spot, great night, great friends to hang out with….
